According to a statement by Sindh Government Spokesperson Sukhdev Hemnani, S-BOSS has integrated 16 government departments, 19 agencies, and more than 130 licensing services into a unified online system, eliminating manual processes and significantly reducing approval timelines.
He said that within just nine months of its rollout, the platform has registered over 15,000 businesses and issued more than 8,000 e-licenses, marking a major shift toward transparency, efficiency, and investor confidence in Sindh.
Hemnani stated that the digital system allows entrepreneurs, startups, and investors to apply for, track, and receive approvals online, removing long-standing bureaucratic hurdles. He described S-BOSS as a “structural reset” in governance, replacing manual approvals with a fully digitized framework.
Highlighting inclusivity, he noted that youth and women entrepreneurs are among the key beneficiaries of the platform, gaining direct access to government services without intermediaries. He added that the initiative is helping boost SME growth, attract investment, and encourage innovation in the province.
He further remarked that the Ease of Doing Business vision has now become operational through S-BOSS, making business registration and licensing “one click away.”
The spokesperson concluded that the initiative reflects the vision of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for a digitally enabled, transparent, and business-friendly Sindh aligned with modern economic needs.
