Karachi: 24 November 2021, Sindh Energy Minister Imtiaz Sheikh, responding to the statement of PM’s Advisor on Finance Shaukat Tareen, said that the confession of Finance Advisor is a charge sheet on the incompetence of the Federal Ministry of Energy, by not tendering LNG in time Billions of dollars in irreparable damage have been done to the national exchequer.
He said that present and former ministers have been lying to the nation about construction of LNG terminal, Federal Minister of Energy Hamad Azhar should immediately resign morally over his incompetence and failure after Finance Adviser confession regarding gas crisis.
Imtiaz Sheikh said that Prime Minister himself and his so called team of economists continuously conducting experiences with the national exchequer and this caused historic loss to the national exchequer in the purchase of LNG in last three years.
He said that the nation is suffering owing to the experiences of the Prime Minister and the incompetence, failures and corruption of the trainee rulers.
Sindh Minister for Energy said that there are powerful mafias in the present government and they are prioritizing their personal interest over national interests.
