Hollywood actress hidden behind Wi-Fi through walls.

LOS ANGELES : How does Wi-Fi actually work through walls? In the 1940s, famous Hollywood actress Hedy Lamarr came up with a revolutionary idea called frequency hopping spread spectrum. In the technology, the signal is rapidly transmitted over different frequencies instead of staying on a single frequency, making it difficult to intercept or hack. Hedy Lamarr invented this with musician George Antheil during World War II and patented it in 1942, but the US Navy never used it. This principle later became the basis for modern wireless communication, including Wi-Fi. The report states that when a Wi-Fi signal hits a wall, some of it bounces back, some is absorbed, and the rest passes through the wall, maintaining an internet connection.
