New Jersey USA : A high-level meeting took place at the New Jersey residence of Dr. Gholam Mujtaba, Chairman of the Pakistan Policy Institute USA, bringing together prominent political and business figures to discuss avenues for international cooperation and trust-building.
Among the distinguished participants were Senator Rana Mahmoodul Hassan, a senior member of the Senate of Pakistan; Mr. Pervez Rafique, a two-time Member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA) from Faisalabad; and Mr. Sengbae Ju, a Korean-American businessman and political activist with close ties to the government of South Korea.

During the meeting, Mr. Sengbae Ju emphasized the importance of expanding trade and investment opportunities among the United States, South Korea, and Pakistan, particularly in renewable energy, technology transfer, and industrial manufacturing. He highlighted Korea’s growing interest in South Asian markets and the potential for trilateral cooperation to boost economic growth and regional stability.

Mr. Pervez Rafique discussed the current political climate in the United States, especially in light of the upcoming elections, and explored how global political dynamics are shaping South Asian policies. His insights reflected the increasing participation of Pakistani Americans in U.S. politics and the importance of diaspora engagement in fostering mutual understanding.
Senator Rana Mahmoodul Hassan underlined the need to build trust and strengthen bridges between Pakistan and the United States through dialogue, parliamentary diplomacy, and people-to-people connections. He commended Dr. Mujtaba’s long-standing efforts in promoting constructive engagement between American policymakers and Pakistani leadership.
