Hafeezuddin visits PRCS Sindh headquarters, praises humanitarian service efforts

KARACHI: Syed Hafeezuddin, Advocate Supreme Court, Member of the National Assembly (MNA), and Chairman of the Standing Committee on Industries and Production, visited the Provincial Headquarters of the Pakistan Red Crescent Sindh Branch (PRCS).

KARACHI: Syed Hafeezuddin, Advocate Supreme Court, Member of the National Assembly (MNA), and Chairman of the Standing Committee on Industries and Production, visited the Provincial Headquarters of the Pakistan Red Crescent Sindh Branch (PRCS).

Upon his arrival, PRCS Sindh Chairman Rehan Hashmi and the Provincial Secretary welcomed him. During the visit, officials briefed him on the organization’s humanitarian activities, ongoing projects, and community services across Sindh.

Humanitarian efforts appreciated

Syed Hafeezuddin praised the dedication of PRCS volunteers and acknowledged their contributions to supporting vulnerable communities.

Moreover, he commended the organization’s commitment to humanitarian values and its efforts to provide assistance to people in need throughout the province.

Tour of key departments

During the visit, PRCS Sindh Chairman Rehan Hashmi escorted the guest to the Training Department and the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) of the Disaster Management Department.

Furthermore, Syed Hafeezuddin reviewed the facilities, observed training activities, and received an overview of emergency response coordination mechanisms.

The Provincial Secretary also briefed him on training manuals, professional courses, capacity-building programs, and disaster management initiatives conducted by the organization.

Recognition of PRCS services

Meanwhile, the visiting lawmaker expressed admiration for the infrastructure, operational preparedness, and training systems developed by PRCS Sindh.

He noted the importance of strengthening disaster response capabilities and community preparedness through continuous training and awareness programs.

Commemorative presentation

At the conclusion of the visit, PRCS Sindh Chairman Rehan Hashmi presented Syed Hafeezuddin with a commemorative shield and a traditional Ajrak as a gesture of appreciation and respect.
