ISLAMABAD 0 The government will construct a mausoleum on the grave of nuclear scientist Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan.
This was stated by Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed while speaking to the media outside the residence of late founder of Pakistan’s nuclear programme Dr Qadeer.
Dr Qadeer Khan’s daughter Dr Dina had been consulted about the design of the tomb. Dr. Qadeer’s daughter was asked to tell the design, the interior minister said.
Rasheed said that construction would start as soon as the map of the mausoleum was received.
It may be recalled that Pakistan’s nuclear scientist Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan passed away on October 10 in Islamabad. He was buried with the state honours in H-8 graveyard.
