After a well-planned journey spanning seventeen days and covering several African nations, Gordon’s Africa Hope Tour has come to an end. Gordon, the traveler behind the initiative, visited Nigeria, Togo, Cameroon, Chad, Rwanda, South Africa, Malawi, Egypt, with stopovers in Ethiopia and The Democratic Republic of the Congo.
The tour, which involved mostly air travel rather than camel rides, aimed to meet and thank members of Rotary and witness the impact of various projects in these countries. It also provided an opportunity to discuss potential partnerships with country leaders.
Gordon expressed gratitude to all who contributed to the success of the trip, particularly highlighting the efforts of General Coordinator Mayan Raslan and her team of Country Coordinators.
The Africa Hope Tour has not only strengthened Rotary’s presence across the continent but has also showcased the organization’s commitment to creating positive change and fostering partnerships for a brighter future.
