Gold prices in Pakistan surged on Saturday, reflecting gains in the international market. According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs1,465, reaching Rs358,465. Likewise, 10 grams of 24-karat gold saw a rise of Rs1,256, bringing the rate to Rs307,325.
This upward trend comes a day after gold prices had dropped by Rs1,595 per tola, closing at Rs357,000 on Friday.
In the global market, gold prices also rose, with the per ounce rate increasing by $13, reaching $3,369.
Meanwhile, silver prices in Pakistan declined, with 24-karat silver per tola falling by Rs11 to Rs3,785, and 10 grams of silver dropping to Rs3,245.
