Gold prices in Pakistan witnessed an increase on Friday, rising by Rs900 per tola to reach Rs336,100, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
The price of 10 grams of gold also climbed by Rs772, settling at Rs288,151.
This uptick follows a sharp decline a day earlier, when gold dropped by Rs6,700 per tola, bringing the rate down to Rs335,200 on Thursday.
On the global front, gold prices also moved upward, increasing by $9 to reach $3,177 per ounce, including a $20 premium, as per APGJSA data.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged in the domestic market, holding steady at Rs3,377 per tola.
