KARACHI, October 7: The Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Karachi has donated a modern YAG Laser machine to the Pakistan Eye Bank Society (PEBS) Hospital to support advanced eye-care services.
Ms. Dagmar Traub-Evans, Consul at the German Consulate General in Karachi, inaugurated the new equipment during a ceremony at PEBS Hospital.
President PEBS Qazi Sajid Ali and Joint Secretary Qazi Yasir Ali, along with other representatives, attended the inauguration ceremony.
The modern YAG Laser machine will strengthen the hospital’s capacity to provide specialised ophthalmic treatment and improve access to modern eye-care facilities for patients.
The donation reflects the German Consulate’s support for healthcare initiatives and community welfare in Karachi.
