There is a great scope of technology sector in Pakistan and it has been observed that various sectors are losing business in Pakistan due to the sensitive and political situation but IT sector is leading in business to the highest level as compare to other business sectors in Pakistan. Top IT companies from China, Korea, USA and Europe are bringing in investments to the tune of billions of dollars. These companies are focusing on Analytical equipment’s and solution, Surveillance and security equipment’s and Solution, Data processing, Scanning facilities, Telecommunication system connectivity as well as other modern software for the future.
Automation has become a priority, especially private sectors have upgraded its facilities. The investment countries are competing on a very low bid insuring best quality to get maximum business in Pakistan.
Thou specific brands are given edge as per the rules of the business of tenders but still many companies are trying to break the ice including various Chinese companies. Pakistan government has also developed various projects in IT sectors including Health, Education, Policing and Excise portfolios. These investors in IT are also offering BOT projects in all the sectors.
Banking sectors has room for business and the foreign investors are keenly interested to develop at large. The companies who are the leading players from Far East have an annual turnover of approximately 15 billion US Dollars. Other companies who are planning to enter Pakistan from Europe and USA also worth billions of us Dollars per annum. These companies are willing to manage financial support as well as technical assistance and transfer of technology in Pakistan due to the tremendous growth rate in technology sector in Pakistan.
Why the development of IT sector has reached to a level which will create thousand of jobs, social financial strength and high tech trading in the country. Local companies in Pakistan are also moving fast in various IT sectors in Pakistan. Telecom sector branch of IT has develop tremendous business having over 100 million cell phones in Pakistan connecting people from one another. Media industry has one of the highest growth rate having more then hundred channels which is one of the major component of IT sector.
The diplomatic core is also playing a wide role to manage IT business from their respective countries. The multinational companies are managing local reliable partners in Pakistan and setting up their offices in the major cities in Pakistan.
