Reacting to the blasphemous statement made by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) spokesperson, Pakistan’s leading actor and host Faisal Qureshi demanded a complete ban on India.

Faisal Qureshi in his video message released on the photo and video sharing app Instagram said, “Why is everyone so silent on the current issue that everyone should talk about?”

The actor said, “A woman in India has made a blasphemous statement about our beloved Prophet (PBUH) on which the entire Muslim Ummah is boycotting India but there is still a lot of silence on our part and I think we should talk about it.” There should be a regular boycott.

He said, “It hurts when I see some things and pictures in different places because for me and for the entire Muslim Ummah there is nothing more than the person of the Holy Prophet.”

Finally, he appealed to all Pakistanis and the Muslim Ummah, “I want you to talk about it, record your protest because the tide has turned.”

It is to be noted that BJP spokesperson Nopur Sharma had spoken insultingly on a TV channel in honor of Islam and the Holy Prophet Muhammad.
