Engro Vopak supports Hunar Foundation by Empowering the Women of Pakistan
KARACHI – Nearly 39 percent of Pakistanis live in multi-dimensional poverty, according to UNDP’s 2016 report. To combat this issue, The Hunar Foundation (THF) is conducting vocational training for young men and women from underprivileged communities, thereby empowering them with technical and vocational skills to become financially independent.
Engro Vopak is extending support to The Hunar Foundation (THF) by sponsoring a Women’s Trade for THF Campus in Korangi. A cheque hand over ceremony took place on 26th March 2019 at THF’s Delhi Mercantile Society Technical Institute in Karachi, withMr. Jahangir Piracha, C.E.O Engro Vopak, and Mr. Mehdi Hasnain, C.E.O of The Hunar Foundation, presiding over this this auspicious event.
