Algeria Unveils Major Investment Reforms to Speed Up Business Approvals

The terminal handled a Q-Flex vessel carrying more than 210,000 cubic metres of liquefied natural gas during a period of pressure on global energy supplies.

Complex Operation Completed Successfully

According to officials, the operation demonstrated the strength of Pakistan’s LNG terminal infrastructure and the expertise of operational teams.

Moreover, the vessel handling process involved a complex dual-parcel discharge sequence conducted safely while managing tidal and draft constraints.

The successful operation required close coordination between multiple stakeholders across the energy and maritime sectors.

Multiple Organizations Support LNG Operation

The operation involved cooperation between the Port Qasim Authority, Excelerate Energy, Nakilat, QatarEnergy, Sui Southern Gas Company, and Pakistan State Oil.

Furthermore, terminal officials praised the engineering capabilities and operational readiness of all participating teams.

LNG Cargo Expected to Support Energy Stability

Officials said the arrival of the record LNG shipment would help maintain energy supplies across Pakistan during a challenging period.

As a result, homes, industries, and businesses are expected to continue receiving uninterrupted energy support.

The terminal operator stated that reliable LNG infrastructure remains essential for economic stability, energy continuity, and national resilience.

Terminal Infrastructure Key to Pakistan’s Energy Future

Engro Elengy Terminal emphasized that modern terminal infrastructure plays a critical role beyond storage and transportation.

According to the company, such facilities help secure energy supplies, support economic activity, and strengthen confidence in Pakistan’s ability to manage complex energy challenges.

The successful handling of the historic LNG vessel also highlighted Pakistan’s growing operational capacity within the regional energy sector.
