In the third T20 match, the England team defeated Pakistan and took a 1-2 lead in the series.

Chasing the record target of 222 runs set by England, Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Iftikhar Ahmed and Hyder Ali could not even reach double figures.

National batsmen could not face the fast balls of English bowler Mark Wood, they got Babar Azam and Hyder Ali out.

Along with Mark Wood, Sam Curran and Rhys Topley also managed to take one wicket each and the national team lost 4 wickets in the powerplay itself.

The increased run rate with every passing ball put the national batsmen under pressure and did not let up again.

Shaan Masood, who played the second innings of his career, fought the English bowlers by scoring 66 runs off 40 balls and remained unbeaten.

Apart from them, Khushdil Shah scored 29 runs and Mohammad Nawaz scored 19 runs.

The national batsmen could score 158 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 20 overs and thus faced defeat in the third match by 63 runs.

It should be noted that in this match played at the National Stadium in Karachi, Pakistan captain Babar Azam won the toss and invited England to bat.

During England’s innings, Pakistani bowlers chased Phil Salt to a total of 18, but Will Jack, who played his first match for England, played an innings of 40 runs off 22 balls to take the pressure off his team.

He formed a partnership of 43 runs with Dawood Milan. Dowd Milan was out on a total of 61, Jack also returned to the pavilion on a total of 82. Both were caught out by Usman Qadir.

After that, Harry Brook and Ben Duckitt took the carries and then made the Pakistani bowlers suffer.

The duo put on an unbeaten 69-ball 139-run partnership to take their team to 221 for the loss of 3 wickets.

Harry Brooke played a smoky innings of 81 runs off 35 balls with the help of 8 fours and 5 towering sixes while Ben Duckitt scored 69 runs off 42 balls.

On behalf of Pakistan, Usman Qadir was prominent with 2 wickets while Mohammad Hasnain got one out.

England’s Harry Brook was declared the best player of the match.
