President Al-Shifa Trust Major General (Retd) Rehmat Khan has nominated Dr Murtaza Mughal as “Friend of Al-Shifa”.
The decision was taken keeping in view the social services of Dr Murtaza Mughal who is Group Country Head of United International Group (UIG).
Dr. Mughal has remained a motivational speaker at the Pakistan Red Crescent Society for three years and served as convenor of FPCCI Central Standing Committee on Insurance in 2020.
In this regard, a simple but impressive ceremony was held in which Major General (Retd) Rehmat Khan gave away a certificate to Dr. Murtaza Mughal.
He said that we need guidance from distinguished individuals who have been blessed with knowledge and experience, especially those who have achieved position and status in their own careers with integrity and selfless devotion.
Major General (Retd) Rehmat Khan added that he is pleased to nominate Dr. Mughal as a “Friend of AL-Shifa” and he hopes that Al-Shifa will benefit from his experience.
He said that the trust will try to get their staff to listen to the motivational speeches by Dr. Mughal who also visits military colleges and different universities to deliver speeches.
At the occasion, Dr. Murtaza Mughal, who is also President of Pakistan Economy Watch said that he is very thankful to the management of the trust for the confidence reposed in him.
He said that he will try his best to serve humanity and boost the morale of the staff of the trust which has gained the thurst of the people of Pakistan and the international community in a short span through selfless and devoted services.
Dr. Mughal said that hats off to the AL-Shifa Trust is serving millions of people to lead a better life which is a very noble cause.
Executive Director Al-Shifa Trust Brig. (Retd) Rizwan Asghar and noted columnist Baig Raj were also present at the occasion.
