Chief Minister’s aide Shahid Rind said on Friday that the provincial government had begun arrangements to ensure the injured doctor receives advanced treatment overseas.
Dr Mahnoor Nasar is currently receiving treatment at Aga Khan University Hospital in Karachi and will remain under medical supervision for another week, according to the provincial government.
Mr Rind said doctors would evaluate her condition after the initial treatment phase before transferring her to the United States for specialised medical care.
He added that the Balochistan government had initiated all necessary procedures and was using all available resources to ensure the best possible treatment for Dr Mahnoor.
The announcement comes as authorities continue efforts to support the recovery of the injured doctor and facilitate access to advanced medical services abroad.
