Karachi : After a fulfilling summer break, it can be hard to adjust from fun filled days to a fast-paced school year, which is why our destination of choice, Dolmen Mall hosts a Back to School event for children annually at all it’s three malls, in Clifton, Tariq Road and Hyderi.

From 25 to 29 July, The Dolmen Malls celebrated a “Back to School Summer Bash” for kids encouraging them to live their dreams and be all they can be through Dolmen Dress Up days. In preceding years, the Back to School bash attracted Harry Potter fans, Superheroes and Princesses; this year more children got a chance to pretend play their aspirational self or favorite character, to play games, win prizes, get school supplies, discounts and participate in the Back to School Kids fashion show that distinctly attracted 400 plus participants.

The event was buzzing, as kids rushed to try activities like Bolt shot, detective puzzle games, storytelling, Kinect, Buzzer Games, Snook ball. Interesting pop-up activities at every atrium in all three malls like photo booths, make-up and styling classes, coloring, book reading, face painting and Liberty Book’s secret detective activity engaged kids at length. With a wide array of international and local brands supplying socks, shoes, books, bags and essential school supplies, leading brands had come forth with Back to School deals, discounts and unlimited choices of essentials.

Additionally, mall installations and kiosk activities by Bambel, Leisure Club, UHU, Faber Castell, Deer, American Tourister, Kids Mania and AZ Corporation made school shopping a lot easier and fun.  Other brands like Oreo, TUC, and Sindbad also participated to generate excitement through interactive games and mascot appearances.

On this occasion, Naureen Khan, GM Marketing – Dolmen Mall shared, ‘Every year, we look forward to encourage our youngest endorsers to celebrate going back to school. Our annual bash is not just an event; it is a Dolmen promise for a new school year full of delights with more School Field Trips, more children’s event, Dolmen Birthdays and a new – soon to be opened Sindbad Extreme!”

Dolmen Mall also launched Dolmen Birthdays at the Back to School event with amazing food, entertainment packages for magic shows, Sindbad’s and more. The launch was attended by our very own superstar Mr. Javed Sheikh.

Popularly known as the mall with heart, Dolmen Mall has been known to alleviate community building. Under the initiative of Dolmen Cares, the mall had encouraged customers to donate pre-loved, usable or new school supplies and stationery in Clifton’s main atrium through the Dolmen Cares school supply container for less privileged children.
