Karachi: As per directives of Director General, PSQCA, Conformity Assessment (South), PSQCA team cracked down against Illegal / Sub-Standards and Non-License Products were seized and deshelf at the spot. The crackdown launched by Conformity Assessment, PSQCA Karachi Zone against illegal production at various Markets of Karachi. PSQCA team collected 32 samples of Illegal products of mandatory items of different brands of Pickle of Rennee Brand, Synthetic Vinegar of Rennee Brand, Biscuit of Jam Delight Brand, Biscuit of Checker Cookies Brand, Biscuit of Choco Delight Brand, Biscuit of Zeera Brand, Biscuit of Jam Delight Brand, Biscuit of Jam Delight  Brand, Biscuit of Chocolate Delight  Brand, Biscuit of Bisconni Chocolato Delight Brand, Biscuit of Bisconni Zeera Brand, Wafers of Daffy Strawberry Brand, Wafers of Daffy Choclate Brand, Soap of Goat Milk Soap Brand, Soap of Faiza Beauty Brand, Soap  of Paradise  Brand, Pasteurized Milk of Omega Full Cream Milk Brand, Pasteurized Milk  of Omega Cow Milk Brand, Iodized Salt  of Rite Salt (low Sodium) Brand, Iodized Salt  of without Brand name, Honey  of Hijazi Brand, Honey  of Raheeq Brand, Honey  of Big Buy Brand, Fruit Drinks  of Refreshment Brand, Turmeric Powder  of Big Buy Brand, Red Chilli Powder  of Big Buy Brand, Turmeric Powder  of Food Leys Brand, Red Chilli Powder  of Food Leys Brand, Turmeric Powder  of Quality Brand, Red Chilli Powder  of Quality  Brand, Turmeric Powder  of Chase  Brand and Red Chilli Powder  of Chase  Brand were removed from shelves and seized as per the PSQCA Act-VI of 1996. Notices were issued to the Manufacturers for compliance. All Stocks of Non Conformed, Non-License Illegal Products were de-shelved & seized. Further actions will also be initiated as per law.

The Director General, PSQCA has said that strict measures will be taken against the manufacturers of illegal products and substandard items will not be tolerated in the market under the orders of the Federal Government.  No pressure will be accepted in this regard. He urged the officers to work honestly and commended them.
