Rawalpindi: Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa who is on a visit to Saudi Arabia performed Umrah on Sunday, said a statement issued by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the military’s public relations wing.
According to ISPR, the door of Khana-e-Kaaba was specially opened for the army chief, where he prayed for peace, stability and prosperity of the country.
COAS Bajwa offered prayers for Pakistan’s stability, prosperity and lasting peace, ISPR added.
The visit came after the occasion of Eidul Fitr.
Gen Bajwa made his maiden visit to Saudi Arabia in December 2016. The three-day official trip was also the army chief’s first ever official visit abroad since his appointment as COAS.
