A statement issued by the MQM Coordinating Committee said that the recent rains have again opened a pool of shortcomings in the administrative structure of Karachi, the damaged sewage system has sat down and the roads are looking like ponds while the incompetence of the Sindh government Citizens are paying the highest taxes.

The MQM Coordinating Committee expressed sorrow over the deaths due to electrocution during the rains and expressed sympathy to the bereaved families, saying that precious lives were lost in various accidents. Workers and the public are continuing the rescue operation with their help.

It should be noted that the condition of the city is bad due to rain in Karachi but in the last 24 hours 9 precious lives have been lost due to various accidents and electric shocks.

In the last 24 hours, seven more people have died due to rains in Balochistan. According to the spokesperson of PDMA, 56 people have died due to rains in Balochistan since June 1.

The MQM has strongly warned the Sindh government and the K-Electric administration to take the nails of conscience and stop playing with the lives and property of the people of Karachi by considering them as helpless.

It should be noted that the condition of the city is bad due to rain in Karachi but in the last 24 hours 9 precious lives have been lost due to various accidents and electric shocks.
