Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and his companions is being observed across the country today with religious fervour.
Processions will be taken out and congregations will also be held in every major city of the country to remember the sacrifice of Imam Hussain (RA).

Foolproof security arrangements have been made for the processions to avoid any untoward incident.
In Karachi, main procession in this regard will be taken out from Nishtar Park which after passing through its traditional route of MA Jinnah road, Empress market and Regal chowk will culminate at Imam Bargah Hussania Irania Kharadar in the evening.
