Cast Finalized for Eid Play ‘Bakra Petrol Pe’ at Arts Council Karachi

Karachi: The cast of the upcoming Eid-ul-Adha stage comedy play “Bakra Petrol Pe” has been officially finalized, bringing together some of Pakistan’s well-known theatre and television artists for the festive production.

The play features a star-studded lineup including Rauf Lala, Shakeel Siddiqui, Kashif Khan, Shanzay, Mehak Noor, and Aamir Rambo in leading roles. The ensemble cast also includes Shahbaz Sanam, Abdullah Lala, Sharbeel Siddiqui, Nasir Khan, Faiza Malik, Irma Ahmed, Shabbir Bhatti, Shahzad Lala, Priya Khan, Tahira Khan, and Jaind Memon.

The production is being jointly produced by Asadullah and Shahroz Khan, under a presentation by Zaid bin Asad of RL Art Production. Shahzad Alam serves as Chief Patron of the project.

The script has been written by Rauf Lala, while direction is being handled by Younus Memon. Aamir Hukla is serving as assistant director, and music for the play has been composed by Mujtaba Naqvi.

According to the producers, the play aims to entertain audiences with a blend of comedy, satire, and social themes, reflecting the festive spirit of Eid-ul-Adha.

“Bakra Petrol Pe” will be staged daily with two shows starting from Eid-ul-Adha at the Open Air Theatre of the Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi.
