OTTAWA : The University of Calgary in Canada celebrated its 60th anniversary in a unique and exciting way, registering its name in the Guinness World Records. 682 people attended the event organized by the university dressed as dinosaurs, thus setting a world record for the largest gathering of people dressed as dinosaurs in one place. The colorful event was held outside the university’s Taylor Family Digital Library. The university’s sports teams are known as dinosaurs, which is why this theme was chosen. The record was confirmed by a Guinness World Records official present at the scene. Previously, this record was held by the Cox Science Center and Aquarium in the United States, where 468 people gathered in dinosaur costumes and achieved this honor.
