ISLAMABAD — More than 100,000 students across Pakistan officially received their cambridge as level results 2026 and A Level grades on Tuesday. The release coincides with Cambridge International Education’s global announcement that nearly 368,000 candidates worldwide were issued their results for the June 2026 examination series.
Cambridge International Education, operating under Cambridge University Press & Assessment, delivers international qualifications across more than 160 nations. In Pakistan, O Levels are traditionally completed in Grades 9 and 10, whereas AS and A Level qualifications serve as primary pathways to higher education institutions both locally and internationally.
Examination Demographics and Session Challenges
In Pakistan, over 850 affiliated schools participated in the June series. Key subjects maintaining the highest student enrollment included Physics, Mathematics, Business, Chemistry, and Computer Science.
The session experienced technical delays following a compromise of the AS and A Level Mathematics Paper 12 taken on April 29. Cambridge International subsequently annulled the affected paper and successfully conducted a re-examination on June 9.
Acknowledging student resilience, Uzma Yousuf, Country Director for International Education at Cambridge Pakistan, noted that candidates prepared under unique regional challenges and uncertainties. She expressed gratitude to parents, educators, and school leadership for guiding students through the testing period.
Furthermore, international data shows entries for Cambridge International AS and A Levels grew by 5 percent year-over-year. UCAS admissions data highlighted that 98 percent of A Level applicants to UK universities in the 2025 cycle secured at least one university admission offer.
