Bangladesh High Commissioner Visits KCCI, Strengthens Trade and Business Engagement in Karachi

Karachi — The High Commissioner of Bangladesh, Md. Iqbal Hussain Khan, visited the Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI), where he was warmly received by leading representatives of the business community.

China Backs Pakistan’s Role in US-Iran Talks as Islamabad Diplomacy Gains Regional Support

During the visit, Chairman Businessmen Group (BMG) Zubair Motiwala and KCCI President Rehan Hanif presented a commemorative crest to the Bangladeshi envoy as a gesture of goodwill and strengthening bilateral business relations.

The meeting highlighted opportunities for enhanced trade cooperation between Pakistan and Bangladesh, with business leaders emphasizing the importance of closer economic engagement and regional connectivity.

The event was attended by Deputy High Commissioner of Bangladesh Muhammad Sakib Sadakat, Vice Chairman BMG Tariq Yousuf, Senior Vice President KCCI Muhammad Raza, and Chairman of the Diplomatic Missions & Embassies Liaison Subcommittee Ahsan Arshad Sheikh, along with other senior representatives.

Participants underscored the need to expand commercial ties and promote dialogue between the private sectors of both countries to explore new avenues of investment and trade facilitation.

The visit was seen as a positive step toward strengthening business-to-business relations and fostering greater economic cooperation between Karachi and Dhaka.
