PATIALA – During an event at the Hotel-Iqbal-Inn of Shahi city Patiala, the Punjabi telly film “Duja-Viah” (second marriage)made on the theme of social reforms has recently been released by Dr. Ravinder Kaur Ravi Assistant Professor of Music Department of Punjabi University, Patiala.
Under the banner of ‘Music-Care’ the movie Duja Viah’ directed by Ravindra Ravi Samana and produced by Surjit Lovely. Appreciating the venture Assistant Professor (Dr.) Ravindra Kaur Ravi said that such artistic and meaningful films are being taught to our society today in order to give women equal status and to alert them to the injustice they are facing. On this occasion as an honor Professor Ravinder Kaur Ravi wrote her new book “Contribution of Bhai Kahn Singh Nabha to Hindustani Music” present to Ravindra Ravi Samana.
Present on the occasion was filmed artist Harvinder Bala, actress Khushi Sran, cameraman Harpreet Ricky, Dr. Jagmail Bhathuan, and child artist Manvir beside others.
