KARACHI – Army Chief Gen. Qamar Javed Bajwa granted the wishes of two Make-A-Wish children Javeria Alam & Ruba Rafique, who wished to be soldier and take part in wahaga parade Lahore, both the girls aged 14 & 15 years, suffering from cancer, utter their most cherish to of becoming a soldier to the foundation, which was conveyed to the Army Chief. Dressed in Army uniform, the girls accompanied by Ishtiaq Baig Founding President Make-A-Wish Pakistan met Core Commander Lahore Lt Gen. Majid Ehsan who appreciated the noble work of the foundation.
Ishtiaq Baig thanked Army Chief for the fulfillment of the wishes which brought happiness on their faces. The wish children also visited the Army museum, yadgar-e-shuhuda, and attended the wahaga parade with full protocol as VIP guests of the Army Chief. Reema Khan board member of MAW Pakistan also attended the wahaga parade. Make-A-Wish Pakistan is dedicated to grant the last wishes of the critically ill children.
