Anchorperson / Journalist & Businessman Hussain Thebo has been appointed member of Standing Committee for Culture and Tourism of FPCCI and regular notification has been issued.
Talking to Print Media representatives, Hussein Thebo said it was an honor for me to join the FPCCI Culture and Tourism Committee and validating this nomination is a challenge for me.
He further said that we need to promote culture and tourism and with these two things we can be able to boost our economy.
Referring to the World Travel and Tourism Council report, he said that the GDP earned from Pakistan’s travel and tour in the year 2021 was 793 billion Pakistani rupees, which was totals 2.7 percent of our GDP.
By the year 2025, we can only add 1 trillion to travel and tourism if we correctly promote our Culture and Tourism. He said Pakistan is a very beautiful country. I keep traveling myself, exploring different places of Tourism and Culture is one of my best hobbies.
As a member of the FPCCI Culture and Tourism Standing Committee, I will present my recommendations in the light of my experience to further improve culture and tourism.
