KARACHI – Speaker Sindh Assembly Agha Siraj Durrani has said assured business community that he will take the issues related to gas, electricity and other sectors to the federation.
He expressed these views while addressing a dinner hosted by local businessman Afzal Adhia in honor of the leaders of United Business Group , he said that Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto taught us to have dialogue and we believe in dialogue and Keep the door open for dialogues.
He said tht Khalid Tawab is the best candidate for the post of President in the FPCCI elections.
I will definitely come if I am allowed to come to the Federation House on the day of polling .
Patron in Chief SM Muneer, UBG Presidential Candidate Khalid Tawab in FPCCI Election, Vice Presidential Candidate Muhammad Arif Yousuf Jeeva, Zubair Tufail, Ikhtiar Beg, Hanif Gohar, Former President Kati Sheikh Omar Rehan, President Korangi Association Saleem Alzaman PSP chief Syed Mustafa Kamal addressed the gathering Qaim Khani, Shabir Qaim Khani, Gulzar Feroze, Ahmad Chennai, Noor Ahmad Khan, Dr. Farhan Issa, Akbar Naqi, Abad Chairman Fayyaz Ilyas, Rizwan Adhia, Abdul Karim Adhia, Vice Presidential Candidate Sohail Mahmood and other business leaders were also present.
Agha Siraj Durrani said that Karachi city is safe because of Shah Abdullah Ghazi, so UBG leaders must cover the shrine of Abdullah Shah Ghazi after winning the election.
Aghasraj Durrani said that arrests of politicians are part of normalcy and I still have many cases against me and I have been arrested but I don’t know why the arrest took place.
He said he was surprised to hear about the political cases in the courts about the business community.
S.M Muneer, head of United Business Group, said that the country is in trouble. May Allah keep our country safe.
The country is currently facing severe economic difficulties and it is necessary to strengthen the country’s economy.
He sad that the team was selected to give positive suggestions to the government and to solve the problems of the business community in an efficient manner.
He said that representatives of the business community from all over Pakistan in the FPCCI on December 30 cast a panel vote in favor of UBG as only the success of UBG will brighten the future of Pakistan.
S.M Muneer said that we had a meeting with former President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari, he gave us honor and respect and this is the reason why our Vice Presidential candidate from Sindh won unopposed while all the other UBG candidates will also win by a landslide on December 30.
Sheikh Khalid Tawab, the Presidential candidate from UBG, said that the federal and provincial government have jointly announced Karachi package but unfortunately this package has not been implemented so for .
He said that the private sector which is the largest stakeholder has not been taken on board in this package.
He said that there was a gas and electricity crisis in Quaid-e-Azam city but no attention was being paid to its solution.
He asked the Sindh government to seek the support of the business community to resolve these issues and demand their rights from the federation.
Former FPCCI president Zubair Tufail said that the ruling group in the federation was trying to hide its failures under the guise of Code 19, the unscrupulous elements of the business panel tried to defame the UBG leaders by setting up false cases and Ignored the problems of the business community but that would push them into a sea of failures.
Vice Presidential candidate Arif Jiwa said that the only solution to the problems of the business community is to cast votes for the entire UBG panel.
The FPCCI needs a competent president to represent the business community and this quality is present in Khalid Tawab.
Senior Vice President FPCCI Hanif Goharne said that this time we will keep our eyes open and will not allow last year’s shortcomings to be repeated.
