Karachi — ABHI Microfinance Bank Limited has entered into a strategic partnership with EFU Life Assurance Ltd. to expand access to life insurance solutions and strengthen financial inclusion across Pakistan.

Under the agreement, EFU Life’s insurance products will be offered through ABHI Microfinance Bank’s platform, enabling customers to access protection services alongside their existing banking solutions.
The collaboration aims to provide customers with a range of life insurance options, helping them manage financial risks and plan for long-term security. Both organizations said the initiative will integrate insurance into everyday financial services, making coverage more accessible and convenient.
As part of the framework, ABHI Microfinance Bank will act as the distribution partner, while EFU Life will handle underwriting, policy servicing, and claims management, ensuring a streamlined and efficient customer experience.
The agreement also includes provisions for staff training, customer awareness, and operational coordination, along with strict adherence to regulatory requirements and data protection standards.
The partnership was formalized by Umer Rauf and Muhammad Ali Ahmed, alongside senior representatives from both organizations.
Officials said the initiative is expected to promote financial resilience by combining banking services with insurance coverage, helping individuals and families better secure their financial future.
