A High Profile Delegation of buyers from China is visiting GB for purchase of Cherries.On the concluding date, TDAP arranged Business to Business Meetings followed by signing of MOUs. During the B2B meetings, the detailed discussions were held on the grading, packaging, completion of SPS formalities, payment and transportation modalities . The buyers informed the exporters that they have large scale trading houses, market access and e-commerce platforms. They need assurance that if they source cherries from Pakistan and sell through their platform, they should not face problems of supply hiccups and quality variation. The exporters assured them that relevant chambers would monitor the quality and supply of Cherries for which different chambers of commerce showed their willingness to sign MOUs. At the conclusion of B2B meetings, the delegation called on Chief Minister, GB where in a detailed briefing was given to CM by TDAP officials. The CM along with his ministers thanked the delegation for their interest in buying Cherry and other products from Pakistan. At the end of the meeting, ten MoUs were signed by different Chambers of Gilgit Baltistan and the Chinese companies on export of cherries and cooperation & facilitation to enhance bilateral trade of different products of GB between the two countries
