Tesla owner Elon Musk suggests a new name for Donald Trump’s Truth social app. He accused Twitter of censorship.
Elon Musk, who was announced to take over Twitter earlier this week, compared the former president’s own social media company on Twitter.
He said that Truth Social exists because Twitter restricted freedom of expression.
He added that this app should be called Trumpet instead of Truth Social.
Elon Musk, a San Francisco-based company, will pay .20 54.20 per share for Twitter.
The board announced it had reached a deal with Musk on Monday.
Elon Musk is likely to make some significant changes to Twitter, which he has hinted at several times in recent months.
The deal was struck after Elon Musk’s friend Dorsey left Twitter as CEO.
