Governor Sindh Attends Disabled Welfare Association Convocation
Governor Sindh Nehal Hashmi attends the Disabled Welfare Association convocation in Karachi.
Sindh Governor Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi attended the convocation ceremony of the Disabled Welfare Association in Karachi and praised the achievements of special persons.
Addressing the ceremony, Governor Hashmi said special persons had overcome every obstacle and proved that they never accept defeat.
He said they possess equal talent, intelligence, determination and courage. Their physical limitations do not reduce their ability to achieve success.
“Special persons have proved that they can not only study but can excel in education,” the governor said.
Equal Opportunities for Special Persons
Governor Hashmi said the term “disabled” should not define people with special needs.
“They are not disabled; they are our special persons. They need respect, opportunities and encouragement,” he said.

He added that success does not depend solely on physical abilities. Special persons have demonstrated this through their hard work, determination and courage.
The governor stressed that society must provide equal opportunities to special persons in every field.
He said education, skills development, employment and sports should remain accessible to them.
Certificates Distributed Among 25 Participants
During the ceremony, Governor Nehal Hashmi distributed certificates among 25 special persons who successfully completed the Learn & Fun Programme.
He congratulated the participants and appreciated their efforts, determination and achievements.
Governor Hashmi said the success of special persons reflects their potential and sends a strong message about the importance of inclusion and equal opportunity in society.
