The Hisense Pakistan launch marks a significant development for the country’s consumer electronics industry. Airlink Communication Limited has officially introduced the global technology brand to local consumers, opening access to a new range of televisions and air conditioners.

Moreover, the move highlights growing international confidence in Pakistan’s manufacturing sector. The partnership combines Hisense’s global technology expertise with Airlink’s established production and distribution network, creating new opportunities for local industry and consumers.

Hisense Pakistan Launch Through Airlink Partnership

Airlink Communication Limited formally launched Hisense in Pakistan during an official event. The company stated that the collaboration represents a major step for the country’s technology and consumer electronics market.

Hisense operates in more than 160 countries and generates annual revenues exceeding approximately USD 30 billion. The company is widely recognized for its display technology and consumer electronics innovations.

Furthermore, the partnership will initially focus on televisions and air conditioners. As a result, Pakistani consumers will gain access to a broader selection of global technology products through local channels.

Airlink Expands Hisense Pakistan Distribution Network

Airlink brings a comprehensive ecosystem to the partnership. This includes manufacturing facilities, nationwide distribution, retail operations, e-commerce platforms, and Buy Now Pay Later financing solutions.

Additionally, the company’s manufacturing facility in Lahore’s Sundar Special Economic Zone spans approximately 1.4 million square feet. According to the company, it represents one of Pakistan’s largest technology manufacturing investments.

Therefore, Airlink is positioned to distribute Hisense products across major cities as well as underserved markets. The company plans to leverage its dealer network, flagship stores, and digital sales platforms to reach consumers nationwide.

Muzaffar Piracha Highlights Hisense Pakistan Vision

Speaking at the launch event, Airlink Group CEO Muzaffar Piracha said the initiative aligns with the government’s “Made in Pakistan” vision.

He stated that Airlink continues to invest in local manufacturing, technology transfer, and innovation. Furthermore, he noted that the company aims to make global technology more accessible to Pakistani households.

According to his remarks, the broader objective includes creating jobs, reducing import dependence, and strengthening Pakistan’s technology ecosystem. He also stated that increased local value-added manufacturing could contribute to export growth and help reduce the trade deficit.

Hisense Sees Pakistan Market Growth Potential

Mr. Finn, President Asia Pacific at Hisense, reportedly described Pakistan as a strategically important market with strong growth opportunities.

According to the interview remarks shared during the launch, he said the partnership combines Hisense’s global technology leadership with Airlink’s manufacturing capabilities and nationwide reach.

Additionally, he stated that both companies expect the collaboration to strengthen Pakistan-China economic cooperation. The partnership also aims to support technology transfer and industrial development between the two countries.

Hisense Pakistan Manufacturing Supports Local Industry

A key element of the partnership is the commitment to local production. By manufacturing products within Pakistan, the venture supports efforts to increase domestic industrial capacity.

Moreover, local manufacturing can help reduce reliance on imports while encouraging technology transfer. Industry observers note that such initiatives may also create skilled employment opportunities.

Airlink currently employs more than 2,500 people. The company stated that approximately 20% of its workforce consists of women, reflecting its focus on inclusive economic participation.

Airlink and Hisense Target Nationwide Consumers

The partnership seeks to make Hisense products available across Pakistan through multiple sales channels. These include retailers, dealers, flagship stores, online platforms, and financing programs.

Consequently, consumers in both metropolitan and smaller markets may gain easier access to televisions and air conditioners from the global brand.

As the collaboration moves forward, industry stakeholders will closely watch its impact on local manufacturing, technology transfer, and consumer electronics growth. The Hisense Pakistan initiative may also contribute to broader economic cooperation between Pakistan and China while supporting domestic industrial development.
