Karachi: A significant meeting aimed at strengthening educational, cultural, and social cooperation between Pakistan and Russia was held on Monday at the Russian Centre of Science and Culture, also known as Russian House.

The meeting was hosted by Nikita Kosiakov, who welcomed representatives from Hamdard University.
Among the participants were Alia Nasir, Principal of Rufayda Hamdard College of Nursing, and Fahmida Khowaja.
During the meeting, both sides discussed a wide range of matters related to academic collaboration, cultural exchange, and social cooperation. Participants exchanged views on future joint initiatives and collaborative programs aimed at further strengthening friendly relations and people-to-people connections between Pakistan and Russia.
The discussions also focused on enhancing professional engagement and educational opportunities under the platform of Russian House, reflecting growing interest in academic and cultural partnerships between institutions of the two countries.
On the occasion, Nikita Kosiakov presented the symbolic “Ribbon of Victory” to the participating dignitaries as a gesture representing remembrance, peace, friendship, and mutual respect.
Officials described the meeting as a positive step toward expanding bilateral cooperation in education, culture, and professional development, while reinforcing the longstanding diplomatic and cultural ties between Pakistan and Russia.
The gathering concluded with a shared commitment to continue collaborative efforts through educational and cultural initiatives in the future.
