Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme (PMYP), held a meeting with Mubashir Banoori to review preparations for the upcoming Green Mobility Conference under the Pakistan Green Mobility Mission.
The conference is scheduled to take place on June 9–10, 2026, at the Pak-China Friendship Center, and is expected to bring together key stakeholders to discuss sustainable transport solutions and environmental innovation.
During the meeting, participants reviewed the conference’s core objectives, strategic partnerships, and overall planning framework. Discussions focused on advancing sustainable mobility initiatives and promoting environmentally friendly transportation systems across Pakistan.
Officials emphasized the importance of collaboration between public institutions and development platforms, with both PMYP and the “Promoting National Cohesion” initiative working jointly to drive the mission forward.
The Green Mobility Conference aims to highlight innovative approaches to reducing carbon emissions, improving urban transport infrastructure, and encouraging youth engagement in climate-focused initiatives.
The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment to ensuring the successful execution of the conference and advancing Pakistan’s transition toward sustainable mobility solutions.
