President Zardari Witnesses Signing of Joint Venture Between Sindh Livestock Department and Chinese Firm to Boost Livestock Sector

Karachi — President Asif Ali Zardari witnessed the signing of a Joint Venture Agreement between the Livestock & Fisheries Department, Government of Sindh and a Chinese company aimed at strengthening cooperation in the livestock and fisheries sector.

The agreement was signed by Senior Minister Sindh Sharjeel Inam Memon and Chairman of Luoyang Modern Biology Group, Wang Shanpu.

The partnership involves collaboration between the Sindh government’s Livestock & Fisheries Department Sindh and the Chinese enterprise to promote modern livestock practices, enhance productivity, and introduce advanced biological and technological solutions in the sector.

Officials said the initiative is expected to support agricultural modernization, improve livestock health systems, and create new opportunities for investment and rural development in Sindh.

The agreement reflects growing economic cooperation between Pakistan and China, particularly in agriculture, food security, and technology transfer sectors.

President Zardari appreciated the initiative, terming it an important step toward strengthening bilateral collaboration and boosting Pakistan’s livestock economy through international expertise and investment.
