Turin, Italy – In a celebration of automotive and cinematic history, Turin is hosting an exhibition showcasing iconic cars that have left a mark on both the big screen and the world of comics. The exhibit, titled “Cult – Cars&Movies,” is a collaborative project between GL events Italia, the National Cinema Museum of Turin, the Automobile Museum of Turin, and Film Commission Torino Piemonte.


The exhibition, set to take place at Lingotto Fiere, will be part of two major events: Torino Comics from April 12th to 14th and AMTS – Auto Moto Turin Show from April 19th to 21st. The event aims to unite the worlds of cinema and automotive culture, presenting vehicles that have become symbols of adventure, freedom, and heroism.
Among the vehicles on display are the Jeep Wrangler from “Jurassic Park,” the Jaguar E-type from “Diabolik,” the Mini Cooper from “The Italian Job,” the Fiat 500 from the “Lupin” manga and anime series, the Ferrari 308 GTS from “Magnum P.I.,” the Autobianchi Bianchina from “Fantozzi,” the Mercedes 204 D from “In viaggio con papà,” and the VW Beetle from “Herbie.”
Each car is accompanied by posters and memorabilia from the respective films or series, offering visitors a chance to relive some of the most iconic moments in cinematic and comic history. The exhibition will also feature a round table discussion moderated by Andrea Farina of Motor1, providing insights into the cultural significance of these legendary vehicles.
With this exhibition, Turin pays tribute to the enduring fascination and inspiration that cars from cinema and comics continue to evoke, reminding us of the unique intersection of art, engineering, and storytelling that these vehicles represent.
