There are reports of terrorist attacks in Pakistan and there are increasing concerns about the security situation during the upcoming elections, but Gohar Ejaz taking charge of the Interior Ministry will help to improve the law and order situation in the country. It is to be noted that the ECP has called for the deployment of army personnel amid a surge in militant attacks that killed more than 700 security personnel and civilians in the first nine months of 2023. Zubair Tufail also emphasized the need for the implementation of Article 144 to maintain law and order situation in the general elections 2024 so that the public can feel at ease by banning the display of weapons, purchase and sale of fireworks and the use of explosives. can exercise their right to vote and as a result of the completion of the general elections, a government will be established in the country which will not only complete 5 years but also stabilize the country’s economy.
