MIR ALI, NORTH WAZIRISTAN – A tragic suicide attack claimed the lives of 13 Pakistan Army soldiers in the Mir Ali area of North Waziristan, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported on Saturday.
According to the military’s media wing, the convoy of security forces was targeted in a planned terrorist attack, executed by the Indian-sponsored outfit “Fitna-al-Khawarij.” A suicide bomber attempted to hit the convoy but was intercepted in time. However, another explosive-laden vehicle was rammed into a military vehicle, resulting in devastating casualties.
The attack also left three civilians injured, including two children and a woman, highlighting the brutality of the assault.

Following the attack, security forces launched a swift clearance and search operation, which led to the killing of 14 terrorists in a fierce gunfight. ISPR confirmed that the operation is still ongoing, and every individual involved in this heinous act will be tracked down and brought to justice.
The statement reaffirmed the Pakistan Army’s resolve, stating:
“Such barbaric and cowardly acts cannot weaken our resolve. Our forces stand united and committed to eradicating terrorism from every inch of our land.”
