Karachi: The Copyright Board was reconstituted last year after a decade, the lawyers and other stakeholders have appreciated the efforts of IPO Management in reconstituting the forum where a number of their cases were pending since from the last ten years.
The 11th Copyright Board meeting was held on the 17th and 18th of July at the Central Copyright Office in Karachi. Mr. Asif Rasheed, the Chairman of the Board presided over the meeting, and the other board members also attended it. During the meeting, several copyright cases were heard and decided.
The presence of a large number of lawyers at the meeting indicates the importance of the forum which provides immediate relief to the aggrieved parties with easy access and at affordable cost. The Copyright Board plays a crucial role in overseeing copyright-related matters and ensuring the protection of intellectual property rights.
