South Korea : A woman from South Korea has undergone more than 400 plastic surgeries over the past 15 years, spending nearly $200,000 (approximately 56 million Pakistani rupees). According to media reports, the woman initially underwent a minor surgery, out of a desire to give her “beauty” a “perfect” look, but then she gradually became addicted to plastic surgery. Plastic surgery includes the following physical changes: multiple surgeries of the nose, lips, and cheeks, fillers and Botox on the face, operations to change the shape of various parts of the body. The woman says she is trying to achieve the face and body of her dreams. However, doctors have warned that constant surgery can adversely affect health, skin, and mental balance. According to psychologists, such behavior is often a symptom of Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD), meaning that a person feels unrealistically dissatisfied with their appearance.
