KARACHI – We all must work day & night for a stable economy of Pakistan , said Mr Iftikhar Ali Malik president SAARC Chamber. Â In an recent interview with The AZB news, Mr Malik said: We need to enhance our exports to reduce the import bill & to reduce the inflation.
Dollar price have already increased the cost of doing business but our resources are not less than & other countries in the region all we need is determination and friendly industrial policy. We must stop the import of luxury items and all those items which are produced or manufactured in Pakistan.
We must protect our industry to promote made in Pakistan.We must keep a low cost of doing business. Prices of energy & gasoline and petrol are stoping the industry.
SME policy must be friendly to bring prosperity. 800 billions rupees Sales Tax is stuck and creating shortage of working capital it must be released so that tractor industry my serve our Agri farming needs. Auto part industry is also banking on the smooth working of auto mobile & tractor sector. Various sectors of textile  have already shown some better figures of exports which is a good omen but we must maintain this winning spree.
Pakistan is in a better condition to fill in the gap of exports created by other countries because pandemic in those regional countries like India & Bangladesh. Establishment of clusters and knowledge of branding must be given. Mr Malik concluded.
