LAHORE – Former captain Wasim Akram has announced his full support for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and its chairman, Imran Khan, as the country is going to polls next week.
The ‘Sultan of Swing’ took to Twitter to declare his support for his mentor and former cricket boss, reminiscing the time Khan led the country to triumph during the 1992 World Cup.

Earlier, former cricketer and coach Waqar Younis had also endorsed the PTI supremo stating: “You have got what it takes Skipper @ImrankhanPTI but it will take everything you have…No one can doubt your Honesty and thats what is require in our country…An honest LEADER #BehindYouSkipper.”
