KARACHI – Former President of FPCCI and President of United Business Group (UBG) Zubair Tufail has said that the formation of Taliban government in Afghanistan is welcome for Afghan people and Pakistan, He expressed hope that with the establishment of government in Afghanistan trade between Pakistan-Afghanistan will increase in coming days.
Zubair Tufail said that the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan will improve conditions in Afghanistan and Pakistani products will go not only to Afghanistan but also to Central Asian countries.
“I hope that in the days to come, there will be peace and development in Afghanistan,” he said.
The eyes were fixed, but now the incoming Taliban government can use these resources for the development and prosperity of Afghanistan.
“Our military has played a very important role in improving the situation in Afghanistan and this is a great achievement.
Peace in Afghanistan can benefit the whole world and help South Asian countries improve their economies,” he added.
Peace in Afghanistan will attract investors and benefit the Pakistani industry.
Zubair Tufail said that our businessmen along with the army can also play an important role for the national development and prosperity for which we can maintain unity in our ranks and trade better with a peaceful Afghanistan.
Spokesperson of UBG Gulzar Feroz said that peace in Afghanistan would also keep the neighboring countries safe, especially Pakistan would be able to develop and Pakistani exports would be able to reach Central Asian countries easily.
