Karachi – Committed to playing our role in making Korangi an ideal zone, KATI’s suggestions for the development of the city, and solving the problems of the business community are our priorities. Korangi District Administrator Muhammad Sharif said this while addressing the Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI) luncheon. President KATI Faraz-ur-Rehman, Deputy Patron-in-Chief ZubairChhaya, Senior Vice President NighatAwan, Former Presidents Masood Naqi, JoharQandhari, GulzarFeroze and others were also present on this occasion.
Administrator Korangi Muhammad Sharif while addressing the industrialists said that KATI has played its role in highlighting industrial issues as well as public problems. The Administrator discussed the issues with President KATI Faraz-ur-Rehman and said that despite the limited resources, Korangi is committed to making the zone clean and green with the infrastructure and development works of Korangi Industrial Area under Public Private Partnership. In the past, industrial organizations have played their role in a great way along with the government administration for the development of Karachi. He welcomed the proposals given by the members of KATI for the development of the city.
Earlier, KATI President Faraz-ur-Rehman while congratulating Administrator Korangi Muhammad Sharif gave him a detailed introduction to Korangi Industrial Area and informed him about the problems. He said that industrialization is the main need of this country, without industrial development neither the economy can be strong nor the country can develop. Faraz-ur-Rehman said that KATI and KITE will continue to work for the development of the Korangi industrial area and the improvement of infrastructure. President KATI hoped that the administrator will make Korangi Industrial Zone the best industrial zone in coordination with KATI.
Deputy Patron-in-Chief KATI ZubairChhaya said that the former Deputy Commissioner and Administrator appointed in Korangi have had full support in the improvement of Korangi industrial area and making it an ideal district of the city and it is hoped that the current administrator will also improve Korangi industrial area with mutual cooperation. He said that KATI will support the administrator in further steps for the betterment of the area.
