New York : The Pakistan Mission and the Consulate General of Pakistan in New York organized a simple yet elegant flag hoisting ceremony to commemorate the Pakistan Day today.
Ambassador Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, Permanent Representative of Pakistan to the United Nations, hoisted the national flag to the tune of the national anthem.
The flag-hoisting ceremony was attended by the officers and staff members of the Pakistan Mission as well as Consulate General of Pakistan in New York.
Messages of the President, the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan were read out on the occasion.
