In the Surjani murder case, police have arrested the husband of a woman killed in Karachi’s Surjani Town area following a targeted investigation into the incident.
According to police officials, the victim, Misbah, was shot dead on 12 June inside her parents’ home in Sector 11-D of Surjani Town. Authorities said the case initially appeared to be a domestic dispute that escalated into deadly violence.

Investigators allege that the arrested suspect, identified as Salman, entered the house along with four unidentified accomplices and opened fire, killing his wife on the spot.
Police confirmed that the case was registered at Surjani Town police station on the complaint of the victim’s father, Abu Bakar. The FIR names Salman and his four unknown associates as suspects.
Officials said further investigations are underway, and raids are being conducted to arrest the remaining accused. The motive is being examined, with early findings pointing to a domestic conflict.
