Supreme Court Grants Six Month Extension in Army Chief’s Service
The Supreme Court has granted six months extension in the tenure of Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
The court, in its short order, declared that the parliament will legislate on the extension or reappointment of army chief in six months’ time.
A three-member bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Asif Saeed Khosa announced the verdict.
The detailed judgment would be announced later.
